- this is not the exact object I've got the idea from;
- the original explanation I've read elsewhere (where???), is not 100 % the same as this;
- I don't know where the hell the Magnum-parallel came from;
- I still can use the "caricature"-part of the explanation;
- it still makes sense on a very "modern" level;
- the original explanation didn't mention pin-ups;
- this needs more research;
- it's too much work for a so pointless-little SGA fic.

So... First live show last Saturday? Me, not really caring about it at all? OK... me, trying not to care about that one band I actually care about a tad too much? Sitting on my hand to prevent myself from voting? Yep. That pretty much sums up the whole evening. I mean there were awesome performances, and there were terrible performances, and there was Spirit. By whom I simply do not care. Except that apparently I do. Care, I mean. Ooops.

Spirit (unfortunately not Tablecloth Trio anymore), the band assembled randomly in Bootcamp singing We Are Young by Fun (one of my current shipping themes, just for the hell of it), at the first live show of the Hungarian X-factor.

I want to see an EPIC friendship. Here. I've said it. (And I'm not talking about how I almost always end up shipping friends.)
So... my mistake here. I actually see that EPIC friendship regardless of its being there or not.

While I agree with about 82% of this post, I still don't get how anyone can miss this:

"Sherlock saying things doesn’t make them true."

No, John inmediately agreeing and confirming Sherlock's statements, mentioning he was right on everything except her gender makes them true. I mean you know... John? John Watson? Little awesome guy sharing a flat with the protagonist? Seriously how the hell can someone miss this? How? The? Hell? (And why I am overreacting like this?)

By the way:
- It would make an interesting subplot Harry having nervous tremors, or other visible symptoms and John, as a doctor, still being estranged from her.
- If Harry isn't an alcoholic, one has to find a damn good reason for John to be estranged from her.
- Almost all the Harries I've seen are not butch!lesbian!Johns, but Catherine Tates. Especially on Tumblr, especially on Tumblr gifsets.
- Or poorly disguised self-inserts.
- Hair dye. (Almost makes sense in context.)
